“I have fulfilled my dream of helping the children of India thanks to Fomento de Fundaciónes”
Véronique is a Parisian doctor who had an early vocation, back at the age of 12, when she dreamed of being a doctor in India. Decades of years later, his story shows that that dream came true.
After much effort and study, as a pediatric doctor, he packed his bags for India 28 years ago. His objective was clear, to study to obtain a doctorate and thus be able to work in a prestigious local hospital in New Delhi. No sooner said than done. After six years of hard study and work, thanks to the trust that Fomento de Fundaciones gave her with a scholarship, Véronique made her dream come true: helping sick children in India. The doctor herself admits to us that she returned the credit because it was agreed upon from the beginning, but being aware that this way another person will also be able, like her, to fulfill her own dream.
An exciting story told thousands of miles away, full of enthusiasm and satisfaction for the work done, but always with gratitude for the help they gave him at the time.
She assures that there are more than 2,800 children that she has directly cared for, which, involving their families, exceeds 10,000. The foundations’ vision of helping to help again is reflected in Véronique’s story. Pure vocation.
